William Gruff got to share the stage with a heavy duty, real deal tap dancer. Alex (the tap dancer) improvised over tunes and took a solo on Walkin On Water. I’ve always wanted to see that sort of thing. I saw Feist at The Academy of Music a little while ago and she had a board on the floor mic’d up so when she stomped her feet it was amplified.
Not only did I get to see tap dancing integrated into a band format, I got to perform right next to him. Thanks Alex, Thank you Rockwood Music Hall. Real Encores Rock. Crowd was amazing. The staff was great, the vibe was great. Boom shock lock.
